A Considered Process
From Consultation to Ready to Build Design

Every Premium project begins with a conversation not a quote. We take time to understand your site, your home, and how you want to live in the space before a single line is drawn.
  • 1
    Onsite or Virtual Consultation
We spend time on site with you before anything is drawn. Levels, drainage, aspect, how the space connects to your home — and how you actually want to live in it. This is where the brief is shaped, not assumed.
  • 2
    Design & Refine
The first concept is a considered response to your site and your brief — layout, zones, materials, and architectural elements resolved together. Through structured rounds of feedback we refine until every decision feels right. Your input shapes the outcome at every stage.
  • 3
    Final Documentation
Everything needed to move to construction with confidence — 3D renders, 2D plans, planting schedules, materials specification, irrigation and lighting design. Whether you build with our team or your own contractor, nothing is left to interpretation.

    • Detailed planting plan — species selected for regional Victorian conditions, long-term performance, and seasonal interest
    • Materials and finishes specification — every surface, edge, and built element specified for durability and aesthetic

    FAQs

Before We Start — Common Questions

Yes. We offer virtual consultations, remote site review and full 3D garden design packages for clients further afield. Site detail is captured via plans, photos and video, with the same documentation delivered at the end.

Yes. Every design package includes structured refinement rounds where you can adjust layout, materials, planting and details after seeing the concept. We only move to final documentation once the design feels right to you.

A Paal Grant landscape build typically covers site prep and excavation, garden beds, hardscape and paving, planting to the agreed schedule, irrigation, drainage and any retaining or feature elements specified in the design.

Once construction is finished, we move into handover with guidance on plant care and establishment, plus an optional maintenance pathway. The aim is for your landscape to perform and mature as designed over the years that follow.
